Pacemaker Implant Services
In July of 2023, Dr. Kendall Griffith, Medtronic and the surgical team at the Juan F. Luis Hospital (aka) JFL North in St. Croix, USVI performed the first pacemaker implantation at that facility. The temporary facility was built after two Category 5 hurricanes struck the U.S. territory within a two week period which resulted in structural damage to the main hospital.
Dr. Griffith is a native of the U.S. Virgin Islands and continues to do his best to contribute to the health of the people of the territory.
